Kootenai County Fire & Rescue (KCFR) serves the cities of Post Falls, Dalton Gardens, Huetter, State Line Village, Fernan Village, and much of the unincorporated areas of Kootenai County. KCFR consists of a Headquarters (HQ) building, state of the art Training and Maintenance grounds to include a training tower and a brand new live burn facility, and 4 Fire Houses staffed 24/7 (a 5th is coming soon).
